New SMT power inductors are the industry’s first rated at 800 V

Coilcraft's MSS1514V Series high-voltage power inductors are the industry’s first rated at 800 V, doubling the voltage capacity of comparable parts in the market. The MSS1514V also features low DCR and high current capability, making it a cost-effective solution for high-voltage, universal off-line (non-isolated) AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies in a variety of industrial and automotive applications. These applications include 800 V battery systems for electric vehicles, grid infrastructure, smart meters/power monitors, residential circuit breakers, building automation, home appliances, and others.

The MSS1514V is available in six inductance values from 33 µH to 1000 µH and is qualified to AEC-Q200 Grade 1 standards (-40° to +125°C).ambient). As with all Coilcraft parts, free evaluation samples of the MSS1514V Series are available online at www.coilcraft.com.
